On July 15, 2024, a team of six people from Chaoyang District Talent Work Bureau led by Chenbing, a Level IV Division Rank Official, visited the secretariat of ZGC Global High-Level Think Tank Alliance (hereinafter referred to as the Think Tank Alliance). They had carried out exchanges and discussions with Li Junkai, Secretary-General of the Think Tank Alliance and Director of the Center for International and Regional Cooperation of the BJAST. The two sides conducted in-depth discussions on topics such as cooperation and resource sharing at the Chaoyang International Talent Entrepreneurship Conference (ITEC).

Li Junkai welcomed the visit of Chaoyang District Talent Work Bureau, and appreciated the bureau’s intention of cooperation. She said that ITEC attracts top talents and high-quality projects from around the world, while the ZGC Global High-Level Think Tank Alliance brings together global knowledge, wisdom and high-level think tank resources. The joint work by the ITEC and the Think Tank Alliance can attract talents and make the projects come to fruition. Furthermore, it gives full play to the Think Tank Alliance’s function of multilateral exchanges and its role as a cooperation platform and a think tank, so as to build an exchange and cooperation platform for the resources of the Think Tank Alliance and support the construction of international center for science and technology innovation in Beijing.

Subsequently, the two sides conducted in-depth exchanges and discussions on specific cooperation models and resource sharing. It is expected to achieve mutual benefit and win-win cooperation in future, as well as to promote regional scientific and technological innovation and high-quality development jointly.
